Why Am I Having Chest Pains?

I'm 18 years old, and have been having chest pains for the past three years. It's not in one particular place, I have it mostly on the left side, and the middle, and sometimes radiates to the right side. Everytime I go to the doctor they say everythings fine which includes: the heart, lungs, breathing, etc. I always have trouble breathing when the chest pain occurs. The pain has gradually gotten worse, both in the amount of occurences, and the intensity on a scale of 1 to 10 ten being the most severe I would rate the pain as an 8 or 9. When I was around 13 or 14 years old a speacialst had sent me to a pediatric cardiologist to see if I could take some medicine. While there I had an EKG done, and the results said that one side of the heart is slower than the other and I think that's my right side, and that a normal heartbeat beats in the following order chamber 1, 2, 3, and 4. Finally, in August of 2006 when I was 17 years old I had experienced all the signs of a heart attack.

Hi. I am a 43yr old female. I went in to an urgent care center 3 days ago after experiencing some really bad dizzy spells and headache. I have also been having problems with my ears. They did flush out my ears because of wax build up. They did an ekg because I do have high blood pressure. I am currently taking Bystolic and Hydrochlorothiazide for it. I was told they thought my symptoms were just vertigo I was experiencing and was prescribed Meclizine for vertigo and naproxen for the headache. I was also told my EKG was abnormal and that I should make an appointment with a cardiologist to follow up. I was given a copy and it said I had flipped T waves. It also said said inferior infarct of the heart should  be considered.  I have been experiencing the dizziness since. I really can t function at all. Last night I had a really bad dizzy spell along with nausea and just generally felt really bad. I had discomfort from my waist up that s just hard to explain. I laid down and waited for it to pass. It lasted a good half hour then it didn t go away completely but I was able to fall asleep.  I have a long history of uncontrollable high blood pressure and heart disease does run very strong on my dads side. My grandfather died due to heart attack, 2 of my uncles have undergone several bypass surgeries and my dad had 6 bypasses done several years ago. I will be making an appointment with my cardiologist today but I a just really stressed thinking my symptoms could be something more serious than just vertigo. I would appreciate it if you could give me any information that would help calm my nerves a little. Thank you

Hi. I am a male. As long as I can remember, i have experienced a sharp, burning chest pain that occurs randomly. It does not radiate and usually only lasts a few seconds. It is not brought on by exercise. I also occasionally experience palpitations. Sometimes, it feels like my heart stops and skips a beat and then continues. I also can feel my heartbeat sometimes and it beats fast and hard. My usual resting heart rate is about 103. My BP is about 128/76. I have panic attacks also. Occasionally, I feel lightheaded which usually only lasts for a few minutes and is followed by extreme anxiety. I sometimes get nauseous and have irregular bowel habits. Sometimes I am constipated and other times I have diarrhea. I have seen my doctor and had blood work and a EKG done. Palpitations did show up on the EKG but my doctor says they are not serious. Some people have suggested I have acid reflux. I seem to have some symptoms of MVP but I was never diagnosed with it.

I am a 35 year old male, non-smoker, non-drinker, not overweight, and in pretty good shape healthwise. A year ago I had way too much caffeine after being off of it for several months, and my heart rate and blood pressure skyrocketed. Since then, I have had continuous (daily) discomfort on the far left side of my chest, close to the armpit. Sometimes it radiates around the left nipple, then goes away. It is not painful, just annoying. I do not have trouble breathing. I have gone to a cardiologist and had MRI, EKG, ECG, treadmill, x-rays, and bloodwork done. All are negative for cardiac. Any idea what might cause this? I am leaning toward anxiety of some kind, though I have never been diagnosed with anxiety.
