Whom To Consult For Numbness In Hip Radiating Towards Knee?
my leg from my hip to my knee goes numb. it is very painful to go up steps. I am awaken at night to sharp pains from my hip to my knee and my knee will throb. When I get up from sitting I can barely walk because my joint in my hip hurts. I want to go get it checked but don t know what kind of doctor I should see.

Pain in the hip reflecting to knees s is a symptom of sciatica, it is a condition where the nerves coming out from spinal cord gets compressed due spinal cord disc prolapse, u need a MRI scan of the lumbosacral spine. May require surgical intervention based on the serverity of the problem
