Hi,

The pain at the dorsum of the foot may be due to a stress fracture of metatarsal bones or plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendinitis or tarsal tunnel syndrome etc.

You may avoid walking on the hard surface and use soft footwear. Use cold and warm compression and NSAIDs for pain.

If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
