Which Inhaler Is The Best To Treat Wheezing In A 12- Year Old?

My 12 year old has occassional wheezing only during severe pollution...have been giving her Asthalin inhaler during wheezing which makes her better immediately. Should I continue to give her Asthalin inhaler, or are Levolin or Budecort inhalers more advisable? Also does this mean she has Asthama or is it just Allergy to pollution?

Occasional wheezing after exposure to dust and pollution is common problem. To overcome acute symptoms bronchodilator like asthalin can be used. Further medicines are decided by frequency and severity of symptoms. I would advice you to visit pediatrician for detailed assessment of history and physical examination. I also suggest to undergo PFT which can give better idea of pulmonary function. And plz do avoid exposure to dust, pollens, insects, pets, cold and allergens. Teach child breathing exercises.
