General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Dear.

Thank you for using HealthcareMagic. I read your query and I understand your concern.

The second dose of pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23 or Pneumovax23®)is administered at least 1 year after PCV13 for most adults and at least 8 weeks later for adults with immunocompromising conditions, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, or cochlear implants.

Your doctor has evaluated your situation and decided for 2 months.
Follow his advice. Hope my answer was helpful.

Best regards.
