Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have 2 bad hips. Right one went first, better after cordizone shot. Left hip acted up, got a shot there but outcome was disappointing--technique was different and rushed through--left hip began getting much worse soon after. My question--when is joint damage too advanced to have replacement done?

When Should A Hip Replacement Surgery Done?
Hello, It all depends on symptoms and radiological assessment. If symptoms are severe you can consider replacement on the side which has got more pain. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
