When Is It Safe To Take Duphaston For PCOS?

when is the best time to use duphaston? is there a time frame to follow together w/ ur menstruation cycle. i have pcos and my doc advise me to take this med. but a little confuse when to take it. just had spotting 2 days ago is that considered as menstruation?

Hello welcome to HCM. You can consider the two days bleeding as first and second day of periods. 5th day you can start taking this tablet. These polycysts disturb the menstruation cycle and also decrease the chances of pregnancy. So take those tablets which contains hormone . These hormones support the cycle and supresses the cyst. It should be taken for few months with a gap between each month. Once the cysts resolved which can be confirmed again by scan, there will be more chances periods regularity and also pregnancy. Take care.
