Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Missed period could be caused by hormonal imbalances or ovarian dysfunction. If pregnancy and infections have been eliminated, lutenil may help you get your period.
Lutenyl is a progesteron. When taken for say 10 days, a withdrawal bleeding is expected 2 to 7 days after discontuing this drug.If this happens, it indicates that your amenorrhea is due to anovulation. However, if no bleeding occurs after Lutinyl withdrawal, then amenorrhea is likely to be due to either low serum estradiol, hypothalamic-pituitary axis dysfunction, a nonreactive endometrium.
I will suggest you see a Gynecologist for evaluation if you do not have any bleeding.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
