When Can Meprate Intake Be Restarted After Stopping Isotretinoin To Avoid Side Effects?
I have been prescribed meprate for my irregular periods by my gynaec. From last month i am on isotretinoin for my cycstic acne. Taking these two drugs together is not good as per what i have read online. I am thinking of stopping isotretinoin for time.being. How long should i wait before starting with meprate so that isotretinoin does not have any effect on it???
There is no major interaction between Meprate and Isotretinoin. So I don't think you need to stop either for the other until yu are asked to do so. You can use both of them at the same time.
However, you must not get pregnant if you are using isotretinoin and after at least 1 year stopping it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
