What will be impact of swalloed diluted harpic by a girl about 23yrs... She has been hospitalized and stomach wash given, further 2days drips given without intake of food... Now she is having semi-solid food with no spice... Will the impact of acid affects her uterus? If so, Whts the cure for it....

hi,dear.harpic is a toilet cleaner which contains hydrochloric acid,so the symptoms will be due to this acid damaging the stomach mainly.but as you are telling that it was diluted it does not causes so much harm,there will be abrasive ulcerations which will heal simultaneously,and she will be on increased risk of developing oesophageal strictures later on.and regarding its effect on the uterus there is no deleterious effect on uterus and fertility,so no need to worry about this.have a great health.
