There is a pimple like thing on my pubic area, so I tried to pop it because it had a white head and the pimple like liquid came out then it started gushing out more liquid yellowish brown goo and had a TON in the area. I tried picking up the skin area and seeing how thick this thing was and it seemed to be REALLY big and have a lot of liquid. What is it and what can I do to get rid of it
As per your case history, you are having folliculitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for five to seven days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil, and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
