What Treatment Do You Suggest For A Pain In The Leg Muscle ?

Hi, My right leg muscle has been hurting for 4 days, and a lil bit of my left leg too. Its at the starting of my thigh. What could be the possibilities and what should I do to get better?

Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Since the history is very short,just take ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for 5 to 6 days,you should be alright.probably you have overstrained or pulled your muscles.Thanks and good luck.

Hi Rachel,
It is possible that you have overstrained yourself by walking a long distance or standing at one place for a long period.best treatment would be rest,plenty of fluids like fruit juices and a muscle relaxant tab like Myospaz Forte 2 times a day for 2 to 3 days alongwith warm fomentation and application of Rhumasyl liniment.

I would like to have a little more information before I can provide you with a reasonable answer. I would like to know if you have suffered from some injury, or trauma before the pain started. Also, is the pain constant or intermittent, associated with any redness or swelling. Further, how does the pain get aggravated or relieved. I'd also like a few personal details such as age and occupation.

welcome to HCM...

as per ur query there may be some pulling of nerve or some trauma or weakness in legs...
for that u may need some muscle relaxant for 2-3 days and if still pain survives then u must need to visit a doctor...
