I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. and I didn t know which are good carbs and which are bad for me. I don t know what to eat and I m afraid I ll eat the wrong foods what should i do? The nutritionist dietician, and friends have given me conflicting advice.
Dear madam i can understand your your concern. there are three golden rules to be followed in diabetes they are very simple also. 1.Daily moderate exercise like brisk walk for 30 mins 2.take you food and medication regularly in time 3. try to reduce your stress by yoga,meditation,playing with kids,music and gardening
regarding food also nothing to get confused take most of veggies as raw,limit intake of carbs like rice and potato,whole wheat bread is good,prefer lean meat and skinless chicken..thats it you can take all nuts in limited quantity every day regards Dr vamsi krishna Consultant Diabetologist
