What To Do For The Whooshing Sound And Ear Block?

Hello I just want to know why i have whoosing sound in my left ear and its blocked. I had layringitis a month ago than my gland muscles swelled in my neck. The doctor told me to put olive oil in my ears and see what happens. Can you tell me if this is normal or if i need to seek further help

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of whooshing sound in the left ear and feeling of blockage. There is also a past history of laryngitis one month back and selling of the glands in the neck about one month back.

I would like to advise you the following:
First of all, do not instill oil or for that matter any drops.
Because the possibility is there about the middle ear effusion also.
Hence it is best to consult an ENT and get a clinical examination and go for a proper treatment.
