hi my husband of 32 had a non penetrating chest trauma on his left side after cycling into a post 2 years ago,we went to a&e to check it out but they didnt seem to worry about it,even though no tests/xrays were done.shortly after he suffered repeated heartburn and could pinpoint to a tender area on left side of chest where it felt to be burning inside.he took omeprazole and domperidone for 2 years but symptoms persisted,he had a camera into his stomach but everything looked normal, his lymph nodes are ok too.however for the past 6 weeks its got so bad that he has severe heartburn constantly even without eating food, his left side of neck (jugular vein?) is very tender to touch from head down to collar bone, heavy feeling in lower jaw and tender area still in chest.it was so bad that i took him to hospital 3 times thinking he was having a heart attack, ecg were ok and blood pressure and oxygen levels good. the doctors dont seem to know what it coud be,its taken over his life,he has lost 1 stone in 6 weeks as hes been off his food afraid things will make it worse still.he had an allergy test and it came back clear. please can you give us any suggestions what it could be and if you think there could have been some injury 2 years ago off his bicycle that nobody picked up on.as he is a muscular fit guy the doctors just shrugged their shoulders when i suggested he have an xray or scan for damage to the heart tissue or vessels etc??? please reply as soon as possible regards nicola (uk)

Almost 4 months ago I had double bypass heart surgery and they found a lymphoma on the back of my heart. The surgery healing is going fine and I have had 3 rounds of chemo. Treanda & Rituxan and a Neulasta short 24 hrs later. No side affects at all. I overdid it and had swelling in my ankles but took laxsis. This morning I found a strange substance in my stool. It is a milk white tissue like substance in rope form more than 6 inches long. It was in two pieces. I have searched the internet and nothing seems to match. I also called the dr ofc to see if they wanted to check it out. No call back yet. I am 61 yrs old. Never sick except occassional cold. I am getting anxious whether the dr ofc is going to call back today. Can you help me.

About 4 months ago, I noticed white tissue like particles in my urine. It is very visible and is in my urine EVERYDAY, it s not always present everytime I use the bathroom. I went to have my urine tested and that moment there were no particles present at the time of that urinalysis. I was given a strainer to catch the particles to be analyzed. I was told by the doctor the lab results showed that as protein. They sent me to a urologist and again they did a pee test and there were no particles present, so they want me to do a 24hr test. What can be causing this? I didn t have any pain associated with it. Although, about 2 weeks ago I have started having flank pain on both sides. I am a 28yr old female, with high blood pressure(on medicine and under control right now), I take Yaz, and I am on Synthroid. Both Kidney disease and heart disease run in my family.

Hi, So my Grandpa is 89 and is curently in the hospital. He has had Atrial Fibrillation for sometime now but has been very healthy up until the last couple months. He wil be fine one day then wake up the next and not be able to breath, walk and then is very confused and disoriented. We have him on blood thinners and are just trying to get to the bottom of whats happening. they feel these epsisodes are either caused from his heart or from these mini strokes in his brain. I just want another opinion or maybe some advice on possible treatments for him. he is a very strong man and is a fighter and wants to get better... any thoughts?

My mother just turned 80 and used to be very very healthy (has always taken very good of herself) until recently I think she quit taking blood pressure medicine 2 years ago and lost a pet and recently moved. Her feet and ankles were swollen and took her to doctor and they ran blood tests, ekg, chest x-ray and ultrasound will be this week. Doc said she had high blood pressure, atrial Fab, and maybe valve problems and presc. blood pressure medicine, baby aspirin, and high blood pressure medicine. She has been extremly forgettful and sleeps all the time now. Once, she is stablized w/meds and after fridays follow-up (more meds or surgery), do you think she will have more energy, less sleep, and more interest in activities?
