I have been using Benicar HCT for 20 yrs. Now I have to switch because insurance cost is too much. Losartan was picked for me with trying to see if it worked or not. Well I took it and felt like my brain was in a fogged, feeling brain dead and could not perform my daily functions. I called the dr. office, nurse give it time to adjust. I told her, I should not feel this way and I do not want to go through this ..experience again. My pharmacist told me to try Avapron, but, instead the dr. office sends me Avalide. I am diagnose with cervical disc disease and my triglyceride was 236. I m afraid to take the avalide 300mg. I am on Lorazepham 0.5 for anxiety. I am going to rehab for my neck (cervical disc) to postpone surgery. When I don t the take the Losartan, I feel better considering feeling lightheaded and dizzy due to my condition. Could someone help.
