What Should Be The Normal ESR Count?

what is a cisplatin?and can you tell me what is the regular rate of ESR ?for a person with cancerand the doctor do not know what time a cancer stage is ? My cousin is in the hospital and the doctors do not know what kind of cancer he has and they refuse to do a biopsy or surgery for health problems.?
