Hi, I have gone through your question. Underdeveloped stomach in fetus can be due to :
1. Esophageal atresia or tracheo esophageal fistula
2. Decreased swallowing by the fetus due to any cause like muscular weaknesses ( as in spinal muscular atrophy) or due to cleft lip or palate
3. Due to any chromosomal anomaly
The prognosis of the fetus depends upon the condition present and its severity. Chromosomal analysis should be done , either by amniocentesis or of the baby after birth.
Further management has to be done accordingly.
There is no way to treat these anomalies prenatally and hence no means to increase the stomach size.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
