What Should Be Done To Overcome The Weakness And Suggest Diet?
Hello Sir,
My father is a Diabetic patient, he is suffering from typhoid fever since a week, he is very weak and 2-3 times he had went into unconscious state. He is taking the medication as per the medication for typhoid. What should we do to overcome his weakness. Please suggest the diet plans for him and medication.

Hello,
It would be better if you could admit him in the hospital and gve intravenous fluids to take care of hydration and electrolytes,intravenous medications for few days.
Once fever becomes normal,he can be managed at home with proper nutritious diet and multivitamins.
Make sure that he gets adequate medication for typhoid because it is notorious to get relapsed.
