What Should I Do If I Feel Dizzy After Having Hit On My Head?

Hello, today at school I was playing a soccer and suddenly, my friends just all decided to fall on me. One of them accidentally hit the back go my head with his shoe. It was not a very hard hit. After four hours, I am slightly dizzy, but my head does not hurt. What should I do?

Hi. From your description of you symptoms and the mechanism of the injury, it sounds like a minor head injury. That means there is a only a very low chance of these symptoms being anything to worry about. If you experienced a loss of consciousness at the time, even if only for a short while, then you should be checked out in your nearest emergency department urgently. This is also the case if you have any of the following: persistent headache, vomiting, double vision, collapse. Or indeed if your dizziness does not get better. To answer your question, if you have none of the symptoms I have described, then as long as you are in an environment where you can be observed for 24 hours, such as at home with family, then you do not necessarily need to be worried. If any of the symptoms should arise, then get checked out urgently.
