What Routine Should I Continue In Taking Paxil?

I ve been on Paxil for maybe two weeks now, and I take it at around ten every night. Last night I forgot to take it so I took it in the morning which is when I remembered. Should I continue my usual routine and still take my Paxil at my usual time the same day as I took it in the morning?

Hi & Welcome.
I appreciate your concern for the missing dose of Paxil.

No need to take the usual routine night dose if you have taken the missed dose in the morning.

Since you have already taken the missed dose as soon as you remember in the morning, the risk of over dosage is high if you take the usual routine dose at night, hence do not take extra dose at night to make up the missed dose

Used in the treatment of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, etc. Paxil (Paroxetine) if taken in large or extra dose it may cause extreme drowsiness, vomiting, tremor, decreased urination, blurred vision, rapid heartbeats, aggression, seizures, and coma.

Hope to have answered your query.
