Hello and welcome to HCM,
Low platelets up to 75,000/ cubic millimeter is below the normal range.
The biological reference range foe platelets in adults is between 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs/ cubic millimeter.
Low platelets can result from idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), platelet destruction or decreased production of platelets in bone marrow.
I suggest you to consult a hematologist to look for the cause of low platelets.
Low platelets interfere with normal clotting process and can result in bleeding from various sites of body after trivial trauma.
However, platelets up to 75,000 / cubic millimeter is well tolerated and it does not cause any severe bleeding.
However, the condition needs to be treated.

Thanks and take care
