What Medication Should Be Given For Constipation In Baby?

Hello doc my baby s stomach is upset she is getting watery n sticky stool so on doctors advice have started with enuff 10 + econorm & norfloxcin 1 ml but since today morning my babyhas not passed stool n is getting very cranky n crying a lot , pls advice is she now constipated or? What treatment should be further given

Hi i read your query very carefully.

I advise to weigh some more hours to see if the transit begin to normalize. If not than this is due to constipation.

If constipation is present than i suggest to give your baby plenty of water and to begin probiotics and lactulose.

If the things don't become better than consult your pediatrician.
