My mother has a history of high blood pressure with both top and bottom numbers in triple digits. Recently, however, she was diagnosed with chronic liver disease. We stopped all bp meds because she was dizzy and falling. Months after the decreased meds, she is lethargic, weak and her blood pressure is 80/52. Is this too low for her and what should I do to help raise it if it is?
My husband has high bp & takes Hyzaar & Atenolol daily. Recently, his bp is fairly normal during the day, but bottoms out at night, 63/37 at last measure. His dr doesn t seem to be concerned, she has adjusted meds, but problem still exists. He takes thyroid meds too. Should we be concerned about bp?
