What Is The Use Of The Pills In The Ambien Bottle?

I have 2 pills that I found in my Ambien bottle - please tell me what they are: one is a small, white tablet with the marking 76 on one side and a 3 on the other side. The other pill is a small oblong, brown tablet with the marking 5 MG on one side and a design that looks like a cross-cross inside a circle. Assume they are generics for Ambien but I need to know just what they are. Thank you so much
