What Is The Treatment For Swollen And Painful Throat?

I have had sore throat, glands, eustacian tubes, on and off for several months. This has been treated by magic mouthwash , clears up for a week or so and then reoccurs. Throat and back of nasal passages feel swollen and I cough when I lay down. Any suggestions?

Hello & welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.

As per your clinical history it appears that you are having allergic rhinitis leading to throat problem.

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids , Steam Inhalation twice daily & Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination .

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Regards.
