Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about 38 year old male having stomach discomfort for last 4 months, Upper GI Endoscopy showed Chronic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia, as per the biopsy said to be due to H. pylori hence taken course of 2 antibiotic and Nexium 40 which you stool are continuing but there is not a complete relief. Colonoscopy was also performed. Since there is no complete relief wants suggestions and whether to go for another Gastroscopy, ..
Since the diagnosis is obvious I would advise you the following:
Continue Nexium 40 once daily.
Add on Ranitidine 150 twice daily.
Antacid gel every three hours.
Avoid the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems.
Control of the stress and anxiety is very important.
Soft bland home-made food in small frequent style.
This helps all my patients and should help you too.
About the review upper GI Endoscopy: get this done to take another sets of biopsy.
