What Is The Treatment For Skin Infection?

I have had this skin infection for nearly two weeks that pretty much came out of nowhere. It was oozing a lot of yellow drainage. So, I went to the doctor and they said it was impetigo and they prescribed me keflex, which seemed to help at first but then it randomly flared up as I still taking the keflex. I want to know if this is impetigo or something else because this is really getting on my nerves now. Its disgusting to look at it and I ve tried to put antibiotic ointment but that seems to make it ooze more. Whats the best way to get rid of this.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Hereafter using antibiotics, first respond well and thereafter gives oozing and infected. My diagnosis is INFECTED FUNGUS. After doing KOH test will confirm the present problem. Consult your dermatologist right now. He can guide and do needful to you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
