What Is The Treatment For Red Bumps On The Back , Thighs And Armpits?

Hello, for the last 2 months my 13 year old daughter & I have had small red bumps on our lower back, inner thighs, inside hands, around armpits. They itch like crazy! I took her to the doctor & they said it was scabies, so they prescribed her a cream Permethrin. This cream is not working! Any other ideas?

Hello,

I can understated your concern for red bumps on the back , thighs and armpits of your daughter.

In case of scabies if the permethrin cream is applied then it gives relief within 24 hours. If at all this is present for 2 months then should consider other diagnosis apart form scabies.

I suggest yo to meet a dermatologist to get proper guidance.

All the best.
