What Is The Treatment For Infertility In Men?

hi im hanna, recently my boyfriend who is 18 told me his doctor said he cant have kids. His semen i thick, white. The doc said most of his sperm are killed before ejaculation. He also said he had an operation when he was younger because he had a bladder problem, where the pee coudnt come out. He also was stabbed last year in his pelvis. he also has a condition where he must take an injection in his muscles because he has andrenalin rushes and cant sleep properly but is always tired, its something to do with his blood type. Is there any chance we could have children, we are both very young, 18,

Hello,

Infertility treatment in men requires investigations and semen analysis, hormone testing, testicular biopsy, trans-rectal ultrasound, genetic tests, specialized sperm function tests, post-ejaculation urinalysis, etc., to detect the pathology so that specific treatment can be started. Your boyfriend should stop or reduce the use of alcohol, quit smoking, and avoid use illicit drugs.

He should eat a variety of healthy foods, maintain a healthy weight, get enough sleep, and exercise regularly. He should get clinically examined by a GP. He will be treated with hormones and medications, any infection in the reproductive tract will be treated. If the system does not respond to the treatment, the treating doctor may recommend surgery or assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
