What Is The Treatment For High HDL And Triglycerides?

Hello, My HDL & Triglycerides have always been at the higher side despite. I am an occasional smoker and drinker. However have a heart attack history from my Paternal Side of the family (Dad, Granddad, Uncles, etc). Recently, I have also been diagnosed with higher level if TSH. Hence, have been taking Thyronorm 100mcg from the last 1 year. Apart from that to keep my HDL & Triglycerides in control, I have been prescribed Storfib 145 mg from my Cardiologist. I have been taking these medications from the last 2 years. I get my Lipid Test done regularly after every 4 months and along with that my Cardiologist told me to get the SGOT & SGPT tests done. I have been following this process from the last 2 years but during my last test my SGPT count was 120 (Suppose to be Hence wanted to seek advice from you if I should continue the use of Storfib or to look for an alternative. I am 36 years old.

Sir,
You are at risk for developing heart disease due to family history and other risk factors.
Please follow following advices.
1. Make sure your thyroid is under controll.
2. As you are taking atorvastatin and finofibrate & your liver enzymes are raised please stop these drugs till your liver enzyme normalized.
3. Once liver enzyme normal take finofibrate in morning and atorvastatin at night , not in combination (storfib a combination drug).
4. If finofibrate is within normal limit stop using finofibrate ,red meat and other fatty products. Start using olive oil.
5. Regular exercise for atleast 30 min per day is highly recommend for u.
6. Yearly comprehensive cardiac chekup should be done.
