What Is The Treatment For Fever In A Child?

Hy I have 2.3 yrs old daughter and she is having fever from last 2 days I'm giving her crosin syrup but till the mmedicine is given the fever. Is. In control but after 4 to 5 hrs again fever is coming..so please advice what to do..and what can I giv her to drink aand eat..asa she is not liking milk.

Hi

Thanks for your query.
Give paracetamol every 4to 6 hourly when fever is above 100F.
You can give meftal p if fever is above 102F.
Do tepid sponging in case of high fever.
Give plenty of fluids and soft nland diet like rice porridge.
In case fever continues after 48 hours get him examined by doctor for further management.
