What Is The Treatment For Fever And What Are The Checkups Needed?

Hi, My child(5yrs) is suffering from fever last 5 days, however it is coming down when we use dolapar 250mg every 6hrs but going back above 100f if miss the cycle. Is that good idea to continue or consult doc and go with other checkups Regards Harinath

These usually worsen for the first 2-3 days, then gradually resolve on their own. However, in this case, where the fever has persisted for 5 days, there is a possibility that this is a bacterial infection. If that is so, antibiotic may be required in order to cure the illness. For this reason, I recommend you consult with your doctor. Then the correct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
