What Is The Treatment For Enlarged Ovaries?

Hello,please I went for a pelvic scan today and the result states that both ovaries are enlarged with increased stromal volume(rt 4.84cm by 3.08cm by 2.25cm; 17.59mls; lt-4.51cm by 3.26cm by 2.25cm; 17.34mls) and are seen with greater than 10 rudimentary. Follicles of average diameter 0.55cm,indicative of polycystic ovaries.Pls I ld like you to explain the meaning of the result. Thanks

Hi,
Poly cystic means cysts in ovaries which contains fluid which prevents ovulation.
It is mostly due to over weight or hormonal imbalance.
Poly cystic ovaries cause irregular periods,acne.
Doctors treat with metformin and hormonal pills.
Loosing wight plays important role in this treatment.
