What Is The Treatment For Constipation Problems?

My 89 y/o Mom was having some constipation problems. A cat scan revealed a "questionable thickening of the fundus". She feels fine, but is now quite worried about the reasons for this. She has an upper GI scheduled and a follow-up with the gastro in one month. One month is a loooong time to wait when you're 89! What possible conditions could cause a "questionalble thickening"? Naturally, she's thinking the worst-I'd like to fill her head with the best. Thanks.

I have gone through your query .

* Thickening of fundus of stomach seems not related to constipation , which
is mostly from digestive enzyme disturbances or gut flora issues .

Hope this will help you for sure .
