I am a Male and I have back and neck muscle pain. I have had it for 3 years now. It is on my trapezius muscle only on my right side (my left side is perfectly fine). I also broke my right collar bone when i was 15 or 16, I am 21 now and when the pain gets really bad i can feel it in my collar bone along with my neck and back. If I am correct I believe the trapezius muscle is my neck upper back but also wraps around to my collar bone area. I have gotten 2 MRIs and the doctor (an orthopedic surgeon) told me there is a little deterioration also X-Rays were negative for anything. I have gone to two physical therapists and nothing worked they have stretched it, i have done stretches myself, they have massaged it, worked it out, etc. they have done everything. I have gone to a pain therapist who has done trigger poin injections that did nothing so he tried botox injection once again no help. I currently have TENS unit and that also does not work. I am also on amrix (a muscle relaxer) and have been on multiple drugs to try and get rid of this. I have knotts in the muscle and they do not go away. It is painful and made worse by driving, typing, writing, and reading for long periods of time. Nothing has worked is there any idea of what this is and what i could do?
