Hello, Are you dehydrated? Did you bite your cheek? Di you grind your teeth and cause muscle spasms? Insect bite to your face? Is there any color variation? Does it change color with pressure and then return to the same color? When did this appear such as after sleeping ? Could it be a reaction to pressure that will return to normal as time passes? Could it be an allergic reaction such as a rash? Compare both sides of your face and describe to help with a diagnosis. Look for any signs of injury or punction. Try to provide as much detail as possible. Hydrate and consider the antihistamine Benadryl if you suspect an allergic reaction. Removal any possible irritants. Seek care if worsens. Consider a follow up visit with your dentist or physician to further evaluate if you can not determine a cause and this persists. Thank you for your inquiry. I hope these questions give you some direction and you find relief.
