What Is The Spots On The Lungs Found In The X Ray?

my mother is worried about her bf's son.
he has low wbc .02
he has fevers of 104
he is throwing up blood
he has clamy sweating
and there have been spots located on the lungs. the 1st xray showed only 1 spot and the other, the next day, shows 2 spots. what could this be?
the kid is 18, in college, male,

I can understand your concern.
Spots on chest x ray can be due to infections like pneumonia or tuberculosis, cancer etc.
But possibility of infection is more in his case because of young age (18 years) and symptoms like cough, fever, sweating, hemoptysis (blood in sputum).
Rapidly developing spots on chest x ray is another thing favouring infection because cancer does not grow rapidly.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination, sputum examination for AFB (acid fast bacilli-bacteria causing tuberculosis), sputum culture.
He needs antibiotics.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
