What Is The Solution For Repeated Cough,cold And Fever In A Child?

My Child is three years old and she is suffering from cold and cough from last 3 three months.We have giving her relent, norvent d cough syrup but she is not reduced by that.From her birth on wards she is continuously getting cold,cough and fever in every month.Please give the solution for this.We have consulted many doctors but we are not getting any result.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child has repeated cough , cold and fever which is because of increased susceptibility of getting infected because of compromised immunity. Need not to worry about it. You should use anti inflammatory medications such as Levocitriziine for your child along with antibiotic such as Levofloxacin. Avoid exposure to allergens such as dust. Take meftal P for fever in child. Give him diet rich in multivitamins along with vitamin C pellet to booster immunity. You should use mist humidifiers in room. Visit pediatrician once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get examined. Start treament after prescription.
