Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms, and would like to reassure you that there is no need to worry about them.

Your symptoms are suggestive of scalp hematoma due to the mild head injury, where the blood collects under the skin.

This would get better in a weeks time. In the meanwhile, you could take diclofenac or ibuprofen tablets for pain relief.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology)
