What Is The Reason For Crunching Or Stretching Sound In Ear During Opening Of Jaw?

I have a crunch or stretching sound in my left ear when stretch my jaw. It isn t painful but I feel it could be interrupting with my hearing in some way. Curious as to what it could be. I ve had it for some time and it hasn t gotten any better (or worse really).

hello. the crunching feeling may be due to some problem in your temporo-mandibular ( jaw) joint and this will not be interfering with your hearing. if you have pain or difficulty in swallowing. meet your ENT doctor for further examination and advice. thanks
