What Is The Purpose Of HUCOG 5000 Injection?
hello doctor, we have married two years ago, and still we havent baby. Now recently we are consulting doctor and Doctor advised my wife to take injection HUCOG 5000 iu after intercourse of two days. How that injection may helps for my wife? because doctor said before normal. I really anxious about that injection, whether it may affect my baby if my wife conceived after? please i would like to know bcos i really scare about my baby health in future. sudakar

HUCOG 5000 injection contains Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) which is used to treat infertility in women. It is also helpful in the treatment of male hypogonadism like delayed puberty or low sperm count. It works by releasing the eggs from the ovary in women and by increasing the testosterone levels in men. It helps in normal development of an egg in a woman's ovary and stimulates the release of the egg during a process called ovulation.
It is used to cause ovulation. This helps to treat infertility in women. This increases the chance of a successful pregnancy. One should use the medicine as prescribed for it to be effective. Although HCG can help someone becomes pregnant, this drug is in the FDA pregnancy category X. This means that using the medication once someone is pregnant can cause birth defects in the baby. Don't use this medication if become pregnant.
