My mother is 70 with vascular dimentia she had a stroke 2 days ago CT scan showed bleed on left side brain quite big. We took her to the ER.. There she could only move her right side.. She could feel pain ( when the dr examined her abdomen she held the dr hand) or at least she put her arm on his hand. The second day when the dr examined her she moved her left leg. She yawns a lot and moves her hand and shows facil expression of pain and triea to atop the nurse during suction ( the saliva) . This is the third day and the latest CT showed the bleed was the same size but her brain pressure slightly increased. Right now she is stable her blood peaaire ia normal and she can breathe without the ventalator .. But they sedated her because they dont want her to move. Whats the prognosis? Is there a chance she will wake? If so whats the average duration. What can u tell me based on this info? Thank u.
