What Is The Prognosis For Congestive Heart Failure?
My 85 year old Dad was diagnosed on Friday with congestive heart failure and was told he has 6 months to live. He also is recovering from a fractured hip. He is now at home with care. How can they tell them a time frame? Also, since he has been out of the hospital he seems to be getting stronger.

Looking to the age of your father and disease he is having in my opinion if this is the true congestive heart failure so this can be successfully treated and patient can complete the normal life expectancy, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
