I am an athletic (cyclist) 51 yr old male, my blood pressure in the AM before eating was 107/66 w/ HR of 57 bpm. The first time I tried this at home blood pressure machine was Memorial Day after dinner and 1 beer (and after working outside in the heat most of the afternoon) and it was 120/90. Is that type of swing typical. I assume the morning reading is a better base line. Your thoughts?
