What Is The Ideal Dosage Of Siphene 150?

Hi Doctor - I ve been advised to take Siphene 150 mg by my doctor - last cycle for me as 100 and 50 didnt work. I ve been advised to take these from the second day of my cycle. I read somewhere that it should be taken from the 5th day. Is that correct?

Hi, siphene can be taken starting from any day from day 2 to day 5. Dose of 150 is the maximum. So, as you had not responded to 100 and 50 , it is fine. Track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound and when your follicles is more than 17 to 18 mm, take injection for rupturing the follicles. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test at home after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 months. Hope I have answered your question. If dose of 150 doesn't work, then you can go for injections.
