welcome to the healthcare magic forum,a good question,considering this we can say homeopathy is far more scientific and modern way of treatment since auyurveda is regarded as the ancient medicinal way,homeopathic medicines are scientifically potentised to increase the power of medicines as like we hav3e the generations in antibiotic (allopathic medicines) where as the ayurveda are mostly used in its crud form.

irrespective of its form ,both the sciences or ways of treatment has its limitations and advantages .

Both pathies in their own capacity are modern and scientific. Homeo deals with symptoms and is based on law of similars. While in ayurveda diagnosis is made first and then the cause for disease is eradicated while emphasis is laid on principles which prevent sickness. Ayurveda is a science which is available every where right from your kitchen to the remotest area and there is no place where ayurveda does not exist, only thing is you must have knowledge. Panch karma is the beauty of ayurveda which offers kaya kalp even.

practically both the way of system is working on single simple law, i.e. treat the human beings with all naturally available substances
the difference is only that, homeopathic medicines is based on potentised form
whereas ayurvedic medicines based on crud form
so easy way of prescribing medicine and administration of the same is best with homeopathic medicines because those are available in good sweetened tinny white pills which are easy in dissolving and easy in taking
whereas in ayurvedic medicines there are tablets or capsules or direct crud form powder which you have to take with milk, or any other substances so
these are the main difference
otherwise both the system is working for mankind and without harming them at all

Ayurveda is called Mother of Medicine all other pathies are derivative of ayurveda.. The way of treatment is different in different pathies Ayurveda is treatment of Root cause which removes the disease causing factors from body, Homeopathy is based on potentised form which also acts same as Ayurveda, Allopathy medicnes are chemical which supress the disease causative organism , So for acute problems Allopathy is good for chronic illness according to disease and its serverity Ayurveda or Homeopathy is good as choice of the patient

both are scientific but according to my knowledge homeopathy is more modern than ayurveda. both are treating with different methods . in some conditions ayurveda have some upper hand and vice versa
