What Is The Constant Empty Feeling In My Stomach?

For the past three weeksn I have experienced an empty feeling in my stomach. Even after I eat the feeling reappears. I hurt my shoulder and was given a short course of prednisone. I have stopped taking them but the hunger/empty feeling is still here. I have also taken ibuprofen and methocarbamol recently. I have recently stopped those as well. Now i have a bad shoulder and this painful empty stomach feeling.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of feeling empty even after taking food. Also noted that for your NAD shoulder you had taken prednisone, ibuprofen and other medicines.
It looks apparently that the medicines that you have taken caused you gastritis which in turn give the feeling that you have.
I would advise you the following in such a situation.
Ideally you should get your upper GI endoscopy done before the stert of medications to get the correct diagnosis.
ThenThen youmay need a PPI like omeprazole, an antacid and supportive therapy till you are cured.
You also have to check for diabetes.by blood and urine tests.
I find this answer helpful
