What Is The Clicking Sound In My Head?

Hello I have a clicking sound - like clicking your fingernails together - in my head whenever I walk quickly, jog, jump etc and have been experiencing really bad headaches as well lately. Do you have any idea what it is!? I've had the clicking for at least 3 months!
Thanks

Neurologist 's  Response
Dear Tamsin!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a vascular malformation.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and some tests:
- a brain MRI study with gadolinium enhancement
- thyroid hormone levels
- complete blood count for anemia.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing all the best, Dr. Aida
