What Is The Cause Of Shoulder Pain Radiating To Elbow?
Hi Doc,
I am forty five and have been a weight lifter for fifteen years or so. When i was thirty I went head first into the plate to score and hit hard between my left shoulder and elbow with my arm extended. i was in a lot of shoulder pain for a few weeks and mainly on for the last few years when sleeping. i can't reach for the seat belt or hardly put my hand in my back pocket. Know pain goes around the shoulder under my armpit down to my elbow when putting arm in the wrong position. What is your best guess??

I want to see MRI of your shoulder as there is chances that you might be having pinch nerve at shoulder or a rotator cuff tear or subacromial bursitis. Till that time i would suggest you to take Brufen tablet for pain relief and also do hot water fomentation.
